Moving wordpress from localhost to a different domain

Written by Sean. Posted in Internet, Tech

If you ever want to move your local development wordpress site on to a production server . . . in other words, if you have been working on a wordpress site on a local server like XAMPP on localhost and after completion you want to move it to a remote server on the internet . . . the process is not so simple nor straightforward . . . at least not as simple as in Joomla.
